Baycastle Expression

Baycastle Software Ltd has developed an expression evaluator to form the basis of the planned version 3 of DataSlave. We are so excited about the usefulness of this library that we have decided to release it free of charge to the developer community.

Baycastle Expression, along with documentation and code samples, is made available for all to download and use. You are free to make use of Baycastle Expression in your development projects and products. Baycastle Software Ltd retain the sole intellectual property rights for Expression, but you can freely distribute the runtime.

Why have we released Baycastle Expression?

We are keen to hear your comments and to benefit from its use by a wider community of developers.

We needed an expression evaluator to base the design of DataSlave version 3.x upon and could not find a suitable component in the market. So we developed it ourselves. However we believe the development of the expression evaluator will benefit from use by a larger number of developers. We see this as a classic win-win situation.
