Development Services - Contract Issues
We try to keep contract issues to a minimum.
To offer our clients outstanding value for money and remarkable
productivity we make use of our libraries of software. It is necessary
for Baycastle to retain the IPR for this code, but we also recognize
our clients need access to the code and freedom to move development
in-house or to 3rd parties.
To accommodate these two requirements our contracts
include the following key features:

Baycastle Software Ltd retain
the IPR to all code |

You are provided a copy of all code specifically
developed for you with a licence to use in perpetuity |
| |
|
Where we use the DataSlave SDK you purchase
an SDK licence offering you royalty-free distribution |

|
You are offered an ESCROW agreement for
all Baycastle code used in the project. This will protect you,
for example, from failure of the business or a decision to halt
development of the DataSlave product |
All costs and charges associated with the project are listed at
the time of the initial proposal. Our approach is open with the
needs of both parties accounted for.
