.NET Scripts and referencing assemblies

A user asked:
"I’m trying to add an external dll-file to a .Net-Script, but is it always necessary to install the assembly into the GAC before it can be used by DataSlave or are there a few workarounds?"

Support replied:"If you wish to reference assemblies from the .Net code in DataSlave the CLR checks the GAC, but also the local folder. Place your Assembly (and dependent assemblies) into the DataSlave runtime folder (\program files\baycastle\dataslave). Let me know if this fixes the problem."
