The user may have entered an invalid username or password.

The Net-Cabinet Server may not be running. Talk to the system administrator or (if this is you) go to the server and check the ncserver service is running. There will be entries in the Event Log when the server starts and stops and if there are any error conditions. It appears that occasionally on re-booting the server that the service does not always start. We are investigating this.

The Client may not be able to contact the server as some other program is listening on port 4409. Net-Cabinet uses port 4409, which is registered with IANA, but can be configured to use another port. Please contact support for more details.
