A complete data import suite for a SharePoint
application.
Deployed as a Click-Once™ application and
launched from a SharePoint web page this applet allows the user
to import data from a text file, spreadsheet or XML file. The simple
to use wizard takes the user through selection of the data, definition
of for example the delimiter, adding simple validation rules and
mapping the data to the required data schema.
Baycastle provided a complete solution offering
our client an exciting new feature for their product while allowing
their development team to continue with core development.
Providing EDI facilities to an in-house system
Based on our award-wining DataSlave product the
Baycastle team worked with the client's Indian outsourcing company
and own US staff to provide a tool to facilitate the handling or
electronic orders.
Working closely with the customer's teams the
Baycastle team developed a number of enhancements to standard DataSlave
modules, developed a series of DataSlave maps and provided project
management to deliver this exciting new feature to a key business
system.
Baycastle's open approach to project management
allowed the development teams on three continents to complete this
project on time and too budget.
